Pecatonica 55, Aquin 42: Pecatonica was seeing its late lead evaporate Wednesday.
The Indians had led by 12 in the fourth quarter but Aquin twice cut the gap to four.
The Indians made sure they wouldn’t lose that lead, calmly sinking 13-of-15 free throws in the last two minutes, 35 seconds of the game defeat Freeport Aquin 55-42 in the semifinal.
Pecatonica will play South Beloit in Friday’s final at 7:30 p.m.
