ROCKFORD — With a matchup against once-beaten Hononegah on the horizon, the Boylan Titans did not overlook Auburn in Friday night’s NIC-10 matchup.

Boylan (7-0, 7-0) rushed for 363 yards — with two players going over 100 on the night — and despite four turnovers, mauled the Knights 42-0 in Titan Stadium. After a slow start, the Titans scored 28 points in the second quarter to put the game away.

Running backs Will Sahlstrom (eight carries for 127 yards and a score) and Paul Barmore (7-110 with 1 TD) each broke the century mark and Antawan Robertson gained 62 yards on just five carries as the Titans ran at will on Auburn.

Sahlstrom added a 70-yard TD reception from Michael Morman late in the first half.

Knights QB Cortavein Wiggins completed 10 passes on 28 attempts, throwing for 91 yards with two picks.

Boylan will host Hononegah on Friday while Auburn hosts Belvidere North.
