Boylan 78, Jefferson 43: The Titans ran to a 22-5 first-period lead as they rolled to their first-round regional victory.
“It’s a great way to start out in the tournament,” said sophomore Boylan guard Kelsey Cooling, who had 11 points with two 3s, three assists and two steals. “If we can keep going like that, we’ll go to state.”
Boylan’s Brea Edwards scored a game-high 27. The sophomore guard had 18 in the first half. Center Maria Ludeke added 16 for the Titans.
Alexandra Curry and Jalesa Watkins paced Jefferson with 14 and 13 points, respectively.
