Boylan 69, Auburn 42: Boylan used a 20-9 second-quarter run to beat Auburn 69-42 and win its own regional Friday.
The Titans (29-1) held Auburn to single digits in scoring in each of the first three quarters. Boylan led 15-9 after the first quarter then took a 35-18 halftime lead after going 10 for 13 at the free-throw line in the second quarter.
Brea Edwards led Boylan with 22 points, while Maria Ludeke chipped in 13. Anita Amisi had 24 points for Auburn (20-7) — 21 of which came in the second half.
Boylan will play Huntley at 6 p.m. Monday at the Class 4A Algonquin Jacobs Sectional semifinals.
