SAVANNA — Pecatonica’s Nick Holeton scored on a 12-yard run with 2:36 remaining to end a tight game, 12-2, at West Carroll.
“It was quite a defensive game,” West Carroll coach Dave Baisden said.
Pecatonica started with a 17-yard pass from Dakota Longenecker to Brock Day in the second quarter. West Carroll got on the board with a safety just before halftime, and the score was 6-2 until Holeton’s run.
